About Linda Domingo

Hi, I’m Linda Domingo. AKA Lings. AKA Linda D. AKA Cool Linda D. Born and raised in Southern California, I lived in Chicago for a couple years, but now I’m back in the Golden State. The truth is, I’m probably not as cool as my blog’s name claims.
I like to write and read. So here I am, writing. And if you have a blog, I would be happy to read it (if it is as cool as mine). Among other things, I have written for Orange County, California’s beloved 944, Venues Today, Beatweek, The Find, and co-created and wrote for the dance community blog That’s Fresh. Feel free to check out some of my work in my Portfolio section.
Even though I currently dance for no one but myself, I’m a dancer. Since I moved back to California, I declared myself “retired,” but I know I will still find myself taking classes here and there, and dancing in my room by myself in front of a mirror. My dance resume includes dancing for Common Ground, MCIA, Team Millennia, Mavyn Entertainment, Design Dance Company and various choreographers’ projects. Never a studio kid, I learned hip hop on the rough streets of Irvine (UC Irvine, to be exact – Anteaters represent).
This blog is a mosh pit of ideas, so I apologize if it gets a little messy sometimes. I’m pretty much a normal girl who thinks way too much.
I’d love to meet you, and not in a creepy, stalker kind of way. So go ahead and leave me a comment, or connect with me on Twitter.
Welcome to wordpressland. I’m trying to comment on the meat place article but can’t because it’s not possible. The facility is shut off.
I was going to suggest mead would continue the alliteration with the m,
but if they don’t have it there it would be deceptive to say they do just for the poetry of it. So then I thought about miller lite. Maybe that would work?
LINDA!!! Haven’t connected with you online for many months since you left Realigent. BTW, we’re LPS Real Estate Group now. No longer on the UCI campus property, but on Michelson, very close to John Wayne Airport. So you’re in Illinois now? Chicago, I presume. I grew up in Rockford, about 90 miles west; and spent a couple years in Chicago (actually Melrose Park) after my wife and I got married. I hope you like it there — it’s a wonderful city. Unfortunately, it doesn’t stay warm and mild year-round like good old Orange County.
Hey Wendell! Yeah, it’s been a long time. Yes, I’m living in Chicago now, and I love it out here so far! You’re right about the weather though. I really don’t know how I’m going to handle the winter months after living in Orange County for so long. I hope all is well with you!
Hi, nice to meet you !
